The Columbus hop is a relatively new variety that is becoming increasingly popular. Also known as Tomahawk, it is a bettering hop. It has been considered similar to Zeus. It is plentiful in Lupulin, making it an exceptional bettering hop with a very good flavour. Although it is mainly bred for its high alpha, it is also popular for it's oil profile, making it’s aroma pleasantly pungent. A good hop for IPA's, Pale Ales, Stouts, Imperials, and even some Lagers.
