If you’ve ever wished your pint could peer into your soul—meet Preying Mantas Midnight Haze IPA. At 7.2% ABV, this juicy beast isn’t just a beer, it’s a full-fledged flavour ambush waiting to pounce. With an IBU of 48, it’s got enough bite to keep things interesting, but not so much that it’ll have you running for the hills (unless, of course, you spot an actual mantis).
Pilsner malt leads the charge, backed by pale malt and a healthy heap of oats, giving it a body that’s almost as smooth as your chat-up lines after the second pint. The haze comes courtesy of New England IPA magic, so you’ll need to squint to see through it—much like the mantis itself, lurking mysteriously in your glass.
The hop lineup is a wild dance: Magnum for backbone, Eureka for the “Eureka!” moments, Pacific Jade for a hint of tropical intrigue, and Mosaic for whirlpooling your tastebuds. Eureka also returns for the dry hop, just in case you thought you were safe. And as for the dextrose—well, that’s there so your fitness tracker can quietly weep while you enjoy every sip.
Fermented by Safale 05, this IPA emerges with a mouthfeel so pillowy you’ll wonder if you just drank a cloud. Midnight Haze? More like midnight rave—bold, juicy, and ready to party on your palate. Don’t be surprised if your first glass challenges you to a staring contest. Spoiler: you’ll probably blink first.
