Muntons Light Malt Extract is made from British ground malted barley that is mashed, sparged and then condensed to this can of Liquid Malt Extract (LME).
Using it as a base, it has a light, pale colour, gentle malty biscuit tones. There is no bitterness as no hops have been added during the making of the extract.
You can make beer using the Liquid Malt Extract (LME), or you can add it to your beer kit instead of sugar to give extra depth and body.
